Iron Bull dust hoppers provide increased capacity versus barrels or bags, and with easier connection and dumping they simplify the collection and removal of granular wastes of all kinds, according to the company.
Designed to efficiently capture and remove dust from the existing dust collector, Iron Bull dust hoppers work with an existing dust collector system, so there is no need to retrofit existing equipment. Bottom-discharge design allows Iron Bull to maximize the hopper capacity, for example, a three-inlet hopper holds 1.3-yards, equal to 5 bags, a 67% increase. This added capacity minimizes the number of times the hopper needs emptying, which enhances plant efficiency. Easy dumping means less plugged up filters and less downtime to remediate. Optional pneumatic connectors provide fast, secure, no-tools connection to existing dust collectors with the flip of a switch-no labor required after initial install.
Sight glass lets users know when hopper is full. When full, Iron Bull bottom-discharge dust hoppers can be removed with a forklift, taken to the dumpster and with the Dump-From-Seat option, emptied safely from the forklift seat.
Available from 3/4-yard to 12-yard capacities, there are standard sized models to fit all major brands of dust collectors and bag houses. Custom designs can be developed to suit any need. Iron Bull dust collectors are suited for the collection of all types of granular waste, including sawdust, silica fines, sand, chemical and food processing waste and more.
