The Takumi VC1052 is designed for high rigidity, reliability and productivity, as demonstrated in surface finish quality and repeatable precision.
With XYZ travels of 41.73" x 20.5" x 24", a 15,000-RPM, BIG PLUS, CAT 40, direct-drive spindle and a 24-tool, swing-arm automatic tool changer, the VC1052 can handle a wide range of parts for all kinds of applications. It comes with the FANUC 0i Plus control, which features a nano CNC system combined with precise nano-calculation and leading-edge servo technology, AI Contouring Control (AICC) effective for high-speed, high-precision machining and Smooth Tolerance Control for high-quality machining.
Takumi VC Series machines achieve high rigidity and optimal machine structure by using FEM analysis throughout the entire design process. These mills are equipped with O45-mm-wide roller-type linear ways, which feature higher load capacity and greater rigidity, even at high acceleration. Higher productivity is achieved by reducing noncutting time and improving the acceleration and deceleration times of all motion system axes.
