Women in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Celebrates 15th Anniversary

The Women in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Association (WiM) is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to support, promote and inspire women in the manufacturing industry.

Launched in 2010, WiM has grown into a vital community for manufacturing professionals, with members around the world. What began as a vision of empowering women to excel in a traditionally male-dominated industry has transformed into a movement bolstered by resources for career growth, a collaborative community and professional opportunities.

"The past 15 years have been incredible, but we are far from finished," said Allison Grealis, WiM President and founder. "Our vision for 2025 is clear-we will continue to champion allies in manufacturing, expand our mentorship initiatives, grow our international reach and drive impactful public affairs efforts."

Milestones of the last 15 years

  • Growth to more than 31,000 members worldwide, representing diverse industries within the manufacturing sector
  • Establishment of 33 chapters in the United States, providing networking opportunities and educational events nationwide
  • Launch of the International Women's Network designed to foster leadership and career development for women in manufacturing around the globe.

Vision 2025 and Beyond

WiM's 2025 initiatives will include a greater focus on fostering allies within the manufacturing space, increasing outreach to those who support diversity and equity. Additionally, WiM's programs will continue to expand globally, creating leadership opportunities for rising talent internationally. The organization will also dedicate resources to amplifying its presence in public affairs, advocating for positive change in the manufacturing industry.
