Caldwell Purchases Beloit Office Building

A new building in Beloit, WI, will serve as The Caldwell Group's offices and primary training center.
The Caldwell Group Inc. has purchased a new building in Beloit, WI, which is already serving as the company's offices and training center. The 53,000-sq.-ft. building becomes the material handling and lifting equipment manufacturer's third facility, with two existing sites in nearby Rockford, IL.
The site, located on State Street, includes a three-story property on one side and a two-story structure on the other. It is connected by additional office space, as well as the electrical and HVAC infrastructure that supports the facilities.
Administrative workers-including finance, sales, marketing and some engineering support staff-have moved from the manufacturing plant to the new location. The move will help facilitate growth, as the company has increased the overall workforce from 120 full-time employees to nearly 200 in the past year.
