High Performance Inch Assortment Tools

CERATIZIT will showcase its OptiLine solid carbide end mills series at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Technology Series EAST (formerly named EASTEC) in booth 5474.

"OptiLine end mills are crafted from premium substrate with unparalleled tool geometry and superior Dragonskin coating," said a company spokesperson. "In addition, the solid carbide end mills are manufactured at CERATIZIT's Sacramento, CA, facility and available in inch assortment."

"The OptiLine series represents one of our key differentiators as a cutting tool supplier," said Troy Wilt, Managing Director CERATIZIT USA. "We leverage our control of the entire carbide supply chain, from tungsten ore extraction to precision-crafted carbide end mills, to consistently deliver high quality, reliable tools to our customers."

Available in four-, five-, six- and seven-flute options, OptiLine was developed for high performance machining for a wide range of materials, applications and strategies. The four-flute features variable helix and pitch and provides high stability for demanding operations. With constant helix and variable pitch, the five-flute is suited for a wide range of materials, making it a versatile workhorse of any shop.

The six-flute OptiLine, introduced to the market in July 2024, was engineered specifically for titanium and super alloys. Its asymmetrical variable helix and variable index flute configuration offers enhanced stability during cutting operations and includes chip splitters designed for applications involving 2.5 x D cutting lengths.

Finally, the OptiLine seven-flute end mill is designed for HEM machining and light finishing. Its constant helix and variable pitch design offer optimal performance across various materials.

In addition to being ready to ship as a standard order, CERATIZIT works closely with customers to modify any end mills in the OptiLine series to create a custom solution tailored to specific applications.

"Modifying standard end mills is a key strategy shops use to achieve flexibility and maximize throughput at the same time," said Eric Gerringer, Technical Director, CERATIZIT USA. "Working from a superior line of end mills like the OptiLine series combined with our locally based manufacturing facility in California means we ensure modifications are fast, easy and reliable."
