Monaghan Tooling Group has introduced Vergnano P900 High Performance Forming Taps designed for blind or through holes in mild or stainless steel, light alloys and super alloys.

Constructed of HSSZ powdered metal high speed steel and coated with either TiN or RED MAXX, the taps are engineered to meet high production requirements with long tool life. Available in both 45° right hand or left hand spirals, with standard or long shanks, they produce ISO metric coarse thread (type M) in sizes from 1 mm to 42 mm (0.0393" to 1.650"). Chamfer forms C and E are offered, as well as through-coolant or external coolant designs. Tolerance options include 6X, 6HX, 6GX and 7GX.
