"The characteristics of the 4-spindle design produces the shortest spindle idle time even if parts are carefully and slowly loaded, including air blow to the chuck, measure dimensions, etc.," said the spokesperson. "The cycle time will not increase if it is within the processing time."
One machine can perform four roles at the same time: surface processing, back processing, loading, unloading and part reversal, facilitating high productivity in a single small footprint. Types of parts suitable for the 4-spindle machine is when the loading time is longer than the machining time. For front and back reversal processing, AB/AB method or AA/BB method can be used. For simultaneous processing of two workpieces at a time, AA/AA method can be used (two pieces in, two pieces out).
