Taber Extrusions Breaks Ground on $70M Expansion

Taber Extrusions has broken ground on its new facility expansion, which will introduce the largest direct extrusion press in North America, in Russellville, AR. Taber Extrusions is investing $70 million in its Russellville operations as part of the expansion, and this investment is expected to create 70 new jobs.

"We are excited to finally be breaking ground on this long-awaited project," said Chuck Stout, President of Taber Extrusions. "We are happy to be growing here in Russellville, a location that provides so many of the key elements for our future success, including local talent, available educational resources, a business-friendly climate and a supportive state, county and local community."

Construction at the Russellville site will include a 125,000 sq.-ft. facility for added manufacturing and fabrication capacity.

The state-of-the-art 10,000 UST front load, direct press features cutting-edge machinery featuring a 16" (406 mm) container and can handle profiles up to 600 mm wide. It is designed to meet the rigorous demands of the aerospace industry and is expected to go live in 2026.
